Thank you for stopping by. As long as I can remember, I have loved music. As a boy, I listened to my Beatles, Eagles, and other Rock albums and wore them out. I remember the release of Frampton Comes Alive, Night at the Opera, and Hotel California albums and being amazed by them. In 1979, I discovered Rush and they have remained my absolute favorite band to this day (RIP Neil Peart). My first concert in 1982 was to see Rush. In high school I discovered Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tom Petty, and so many other musicians/bands that really sparked my interest in the electric guitar.
I have always loved the electric guitar and gravitated towards guitar oriented bands. As a middle aged adult, I finally decided to learn guitar, so I bought an Ibanez RG6003FM, a small Line 6 amp, and started taking guitar lessons. It has been almost 10 years since then and like many of you, I absolutely love playing guitar and making music. My friend Bob and I have started this You Tube channel to help teach beginning guitar players and to share our love for music, guitars, and guitar gear.
